I've been advised to find a way to make a low pass filter for the shakers so the entire audio spectrum doesn't hit them and they play overly hard. One persone refered to a "coil". More help would be apreaciated.

I'll install them on the passenger side first.

Wow... Ok this guy just wants attention... Who the hell would want some sorta viberator in there car... Unless of course, I wont go there.. Ok get something small put them in a panle of the trunk, re-enforce that panle, you will not see the sub, but you will hear it... And it will be a "real" hit and not some viberator getting you off in your seat... Now the amp, if you are soo conserned about this small issue, then simply get a jl amp, were they can perform really high at a low volt... Thanks for coming out.

When I was in retail we used to put an 8" sub in the console between the seats in a '97 and up Jeep TJ and then we would mount bass shakers under the front seats -- it was a great way to install a stereo in a Jeep and not have it stolen -- Bass shakers are great for video games and home theatre (if you guys see a deal on a pair I'd love to have some for my home theatre)
