im still thinking its a low score for a single 18" with that much power in a raw box... with 5200 I would expect 155's we'll see what happens when he plays with it a bit...
off a single amp I was hoping to see 153's but I guess the coil config is just all wrong

yes one of the amps was missing a set screw. it has since been found.

 

Your TFONE 18 would take easily 12kW+ burps, if done the right way, with mute fade in and letting it cool between burps.

 

decent score! Just curious though, how much time have you spent playing with the amp gain? I spent a couple hours setting the gain and it was worth 1 full db in the end...those amps are sooo picky!

 

none, i didnt have enough time with them to mess with everything. joell needed em back to do his testing. although off 1 battery its not bad.

Is that where your score came from? I recall a crx at 2008 WF's that lost during the semi finals due to the ground coming out of a 500.1. The one cable made quite a difference in score.
