I recall another post about bringing the industry back. Some tests on here can negatively impact the industry if not done correctly. In this case, 5200 out of 2 500.1s looks very bad and can impact an amp manufacturer's reputation and sales. I feel that better results could have come with more time and testing. There are so many factors that allow the amps to give power. I don't personally care on who's amps are better out there but who's amps work the best in my car. We have had many different amps and applications in our car, we were able to make some work and not so successful with others.

Yo clown you got a bad attitude Splinc was just talking from personel experiance those amps need both positives and grounds to work properly or the burp falls off mid burp. The clamped power being at 3ohms is low people have tested that same power at 4.8ohms from a strapped pair of 500.1s on a single stinger 1750. So yes you dont know everything so listen to others and learn somthing my friend. Hope to see more from this build and i would hope to see 156+ with a strapped pair of amps.

This wont push newbs away, this may help them learn not to go off of ones testing and results. Nobody knows EVERYTHING therefore I dont expect you to. Don gave his input on the 500.1 and I gave mine. I think that Don did very well with his result however didn't put much time into it. I have faith that Don will do well no matter what equipment he chooses.
well i do remember a certain white rex losing due to wires coming off the battery. If i have more time with the amps next time i test ill be playing more with them and now that all set screws are accounted for hopefully itll make more power.
How I see this is a place to start and improve
the most important thing is he has a score, frequency,impedance rise and power
from there he can track what will make him louder
if getting louder happens by using less power then he will know he's on the right track,
if at the end he still needs to get louder he can worry about getting full power out of the amps by contantly monitoring his impedance curve in testing and then recone the sub to the coils that will help him get closest to the amps optimum impedance
who really cares that he only got 5200 on his first couple burps
