Bondo replacement...
I was just wondering if you could use drywall mud (not sure the real name of it) instead of bondo to round out the edges of your port.
I've got some of it laying around at home and I'm wondering if I should go out to get actual bondo or if I could just use this stuff instead...

I assume that bondo isn't as brittle?
hey man i'm unsure if i understand your question. I wouldn't use any outside material to flare my ports personally. If you are using pvc just round them with a router and a round over bit! Then smooth them out with some lacquer thinner on a rag!! I hope this helps, let me know!

Dont use drywall mud the talc content is waaaaaaay higher and makes it very brittle and it will crack, use bondo or go get a light weight polyester filler.
But id go with the short strand fiber glass aka kitty hair...that shat rules, we use it at work all the time.

Jordy use bondo body filler, its cheap and very liquidy when u mix it. u can get 3 liter cans from wal mart for $25 bux. one can was enough do to all my corners and even the whole box on every wall inside, and i still got some left that im gonna put on the outside.

I'd be using it in the corners of the box to round them out.
