I've never had any luck with those cars. Its just a hard car to make loud.I did a fairly big install on the same car and had a ton of problems with getting crazy bass out of it. The system was 2xrockhard prostate (lmao) 12" p3 and a pair of 9001 amps. Not the best stuff! I built a dual slot port box and it sounded like "bum".the car sounded like there was some wierd standing wave problem. I tried facing the box forward and it got worse. I built a seald box and tried facing both ways and it was still yucky!. I ran some long-*** speaker cables from the two amps and dropped the slot port box into another car in the bay and KABOOM! the box worked great in the other car. Same amps, same subs and box, sometimes this job sucks!

i had the same results in a mid 90 sebring
tons of bass with the trunk open
as soon as you closed the trunk it was like you turned the subs off
tried firing the box forward and backwards with the same results
was going to seal the trunk with a plate with the subs in them but the customer wrote the car off before we could try it

Well don't I feel good about this one.
Personally, I blame Chrysler.

This is pretty classic. LOL

2 years ago i did a 177.1 backed up with a 176.8, an then 176.6, all legal dB Drag in Street B at a comp. This is not a lie, it did happen, so now i go around telling people my stereo does 177dB with 2 12" subs. Or i just do like many others and use my outlaw scores to make me sound loud. My 2 10" subs do 175dB with 3000 watters. And i only run Sony WOs type Rs.
