key's to spl...? i know there are a few main ones but im bound to be overlooking somthing.

Buy a meter and test... then test some more, then test again.

It's all in testing. There is no sure-fire way to get loud.

this isnt really the best place to get advice for spl to be honest. yah u can get a meter and keep testing but if u dont know what exactly to test all your testing will be pointless.

1) look and see if your car is spl friendly to begin with, do the research
2) get the biggest/strongers battery you can possibly fit in your car
3) run as thick and as much wire you can fit
......given you know how to build boxes this is only where you need to start looking for a meter

 

the best advice i have ever seen is to befriend a serious spl'r. I learned so much from just a few guys in the last year.

everyone is just going over buy a meter and junk... isnt there more to it like tuning the box...
