IASCA RULES?
#1
Hey Guys..
does anyone know what the rules will be for the show at Intern. Stereo this Sunday?
Seeing as I will be running on 8 Track,I'm trying to find out if I need to record a specific track or if I can run whatever I want?
Are "burps" allowed?
I asked the dude at the store when I registared, but he didnt know.....and said he wouldnt know til sometime Saturday..which for me works out to be a little too late....I think....
As well, for SPL,would I be able to remove my back seat?I hit so much harder(of course..DUH!) with the back seat removed..
AYE AYE AYE....Soooooo many questions....
Let me know what you can,folks....'Preciate it!!
Talk to you soon!
And see you at the show!
Keep on Thumpin'!!

Add a few ports into your rear deck.

IASCA freak , or just a freak is more accurate buddy!! Thanks for the "guru" compliment!
If it's a single point event, you can use any form of in car entertainment source unit as long as it is or was available through standard retail channels. For double point or triple point events, the official IASCA Max dB 2 CD must be used. Tone generators, outside electrical source units that are not standard in car entertainment source units, etc... will not be allowed. As rule #18 on page 72 states, "All audio equipment used in the construction of a competition vehicle must be available to the public through car audio retailers. IASCA will verify compliance and availability.".
If you intend to compete in the Stock class of IASCA/IdBL, then your rear seat must remain in the vehicle. By removing your back seat, you are automatically moved up to Advanced class.
The intent of the Stock class is to compete in a vehicle that retains all of the standard features it came with from the factory. Once you add or remove a component from the vehicle that enhances the SPL of that vehicle, you are in essence "modifying" the vehicle, therefore it is no longer "stock".
I hope this clarifies. Good luck this weekend!
