not only hours and and hours of experementing, but lots and lots of recones as well.

but ya.. my crx last year at finals, if i didn't have everything the way it should be, and the people holding certian spots, i coulkd lose up to 1.3 db's... my box placement was the most crutial part! it plays a huge roll..

back to the mic loading, Riprock taugh me a WICKED little secret on how to tell where the Pressure, or air builds the most@!

ahahahaa.. ok..
use styrofoam peanuts. dump them EVERYWHERE in your car, fornt, back, trunk whatever, and in box then burp your system about 2/3 volume, and let it go for like 15seconds or so, and watch to see where all the styrofoam goes to, and that's where all the pressure/air in your car builds the most mine was good cause it actually built up @ the mic at the windshield. they wraped around from the driver side to the psgner side i got most at the mic, and of course under the psnger footwell.

It more or less gives you a ballpark to where pressure is building up in places.
Was thinking about smoke, it would work in extreme , but for street it would leak out, and be hard to see. Saw dust is another one too, but packing peanuts is a bit better.
