Paul, someone like that will get intimidated after the first show anyways.

Back in the day I had guys come up to me at shows and say "Oh you are that Yuli guy, I'm gonna beat you today". After loosing by an average of 10 db's I never saw most of them again.

Ya, but there is SO much more to SPL then just burping now. With Bassrace and the addition of Psyclone you don't necessary have to be really loud. I think getting the new guy to the show is more then half the battle. I only had to go once to get hooked.

How so?

Isn't bass race just turning the volume up to get the highest db rating?

There are class caps, ie. 120-129.9, 130-139.9, 140-149.9 and so on. If you go over the class you qualified for, you lose. The whole idea is to get as close to 1_9.9 as fast as possible and stay there without going over for 30 sec. Its actually REALLY fun.

i would guess, multiple battery cells are needed in a bass race?
i doubt my system would be able to hold a constant flow of current for 30 centers with the car off lol

No, but having a solid electrical system does help. The vehicle is running. RPM must not go over 2000 rpm.

We will make a couple test shows here, FOR FREE, using a simple class separation:

up to 500W
up to 1000W
up to 2000W
up to 3000W
pro

rated power, stuff behind B column, no voltage limit
