Hello everyone, im new to this site, and im kind of new to the SPL scene. Ive been doing car audio pretty much for a little while now, but Im thinking its time to get a little more serious. Im not going for any world records or anything else, all i want is a system that will sound good in a daily driver but loud enough to make those teenagers with 2 10's look stupid! (meh, me still being a teen), Ive always been an alpine person, so knowing that I went out and bought an alpine type X subwoofer, 1000W rms, 3000w peak. Im running an alpine m1001 - 1000W rms, and 1800W peak amplifier with that, and all the proper wirings and dampenings. I havnt started installing it yet, becuase im still wiatin on my far from paint, but im having some doubts. You guys have been in this way longer than I have, how hard do u think this system will hit? Keep in mind its only 1 sub im running tho!
