Congrats on the job and the new buys DS, that battery should be great!!
I'll be watching this one dude, will be nice to see a serious build(pics, well detailed etc ) of a older car since I'm sure thats what my next one will be.
Street max looks to have some serious competition in the near future.

Thanks for all the offers guys. I do most the work myself (I guess it's a big secret) but the Windsor guys will know whats up. lol

and your right SoulMusic.... Team Trinlect has 162 as my competition, lol. It's gonna be hard to beat that score in anything other than a panda, or rex but it's as close as I'm going to get to a serious build.

This cars no holds barred. Wifee doesn't want no part of it. It'll be my most extreme build to date. The SQ guys are going to get to meet the wifee next season as she plans to run the van in SQ.

I put it up on jack stands this morning, and just bought a new mirror for the broken (and not working) passenger side.

I'll be doing something everyday until I'm done.

Underbody needs some rust removed and a protectant of some sort... what should I use guys? I was thinking of grinding off most the rust and using some sort of undercoating or bed-liner. Should I be doing something to the metal after grinding before the undercoating?

It needs a little TLC.

dont grind it

get a wire cup for a grinder ( P.A.) clean it all up and get some undercoating spray from canadian tire and goop it on real good!

what part of the car is the middle pic? is it a rocker by chance?

It's the passenger side outer body rail. Factory there is a plastic trim that goes over it. I'm just gonna fab up some metal and weld it in.

Oh, for sure. lol I couldn't even get it all in the picture. It runs almost the whole length of both doors. The floors still good though.

Just got all my measurements... this thing is gonna be BIG! for a car box, lol.

I've got over 19 useable cubes (minus wood and all displacements) for the lower section, and a little over 13 cubes up top. This is going to be fun....
