So I've got an Mmatts Jugg 15" and looking to now do Street B with it. Suggestions on what this sub likes for a box? So far it's been no good with the aero port that i was using for the 12" so my guess is more of a wall style box. Here's the kick, i've got no background on walls. Is it just a large box with a huge opening making the port length extremly small? Does the port length have to be the length of the sub basket? Any suggestions? Bart I'm lookin at you brotha.

 

the length of your port only depends on the volume of the wall, you should try to use 2 subs though, and to correct the tuning, just shrink the back wall of the box.....you shouldnt need actual port length

 

Well, I've only got one sub but i want to keep in the street class. Any one else have any ideas instead of a huge box that may not fit in my car?

I'm using an '03 Mitsu Eclipse. It's a step up from the MX3 I had but i'm finding the box is a lot harder to design. The trunk space i have is H:17.5 D:22 W:32 I can make it larger but that would put me past the window line. I'd like to keep in street class if at all.
p.s. How much for just 2 and what's the coil config?
