Btw... I noticed in your sig that you're looking to reach 150+ with 1 12" and you're wondering if it can be done?
Wonder no more... I did 150.4 last weekend at SVR. </font>
I heard that 150.4dB was not even really legit since you refused to go up again to confirm it because after your run the measurement system was messed up bad
but I can tell you for a fact that 152dB is possible out of a trunk car in Stock 1 and much more than that
btw... Jordy... Im only saying what Ive heard...not trying to start a war or insult you

We are still waiting to see you back that number up Jordy. To claim the rights to a number, it is better that it can be done consistently, being the reason why they do that for World Records ... we noticed that Martine did a 156 at SVR in stock 2, can she back that up? I know for a fact that she can't! Back that number up and make yourself proud. Keep up the good work because there is some competition out there. Congradulations to David DaSilva for his 150+ score at the Petawawa show. Very nice bump in the trunk.

I do have a "panda box" and i will be trying it out again, the magic mate changed my resonant frequency in a huge way.
BTW, "panda" and "seat" have seats that are hinged to the floor and fold against the windshield (it's flat too). that my friends IS what makes it loud

I think personally that when the sensor was changed, stock 1 should have went back on it so that this wouldn't have happened. I would have made them rerun if I was running that show.

Well then... your first purchase should be a meter instead of any other equipment.
It helps a hell of a lot more than any sub or amp!

So... lets see. 1) I didn't refuse to run again. Why would I? I also don't see how my 150.4 is that crazy of a number considering I did a 149.4 last year. I upgraded my amp, added a battery, and resined my box. All of that got me to 150.4
2) I was never even ASKED to do an extra run. There's no reason to 'back up' a run if it isn't for a record.
3) The measuring system messed up for Martine, not for me. I even discussed this exact point with Moe Sab at the show because one of the judges thought my score was a bit off. His explanation was that if the sensor really had messed up then the score would have been all over the place. I burped more than once in my run. The first burp was a 150.3, the second was a 150.4. If the mic was messed it would have done a 150.4 and then jumped up another crazy ammount. (156.something is the number it usually jumps to actually).
Peter.. I know you weren't trying to start anything, but there are a hell of a lot better ways you could have brought this subject up. I would have appreciated at least a PM or something.
Anyone who has been to a show with me knows that what I do is 100% legit. Ask Keyur or Chris Wroble about what happened at the SS Electronics show last year if you don't believe me
Hell one of my runs at SVR DID get DQ'd because my box was in the wrong location. When Moe told me about it I didn't hesitate for a second. I told him that if the run was illegal then there was no reason to explain. I went off, charged my batteries, and was allowed to run again.
