everyone needs to get off this crx/panda/trunk box thing. or try to copy another guy's loud box.

the problem is that people do not want/know how to test. alot of guys (even on this forum) go out there and just copy a specific design b/c it is loud in a similar style vehicle. Then they would make this box and 'test'. Testing being they put it in, give it a burp or two and thats it. And IF the box is loud (or louder than the previouse one they had) they just keep it and do nothing else....So what happens after your copied box is maxed out in your vehicle??? Most guys do nothing at all but wait for another loud design to come up so they can copy it.

Then there are some who have coppied a semi loud design and then they just start throwing expensive gear at the problem hopping to gain....WHY???? Say that gear gains u a db......then what?? Gonna spend more money on even more expensive gear.

I've been telling ppl over and over again to learn how to TEST, TEST AND TEST SOME MORE. This is exactly the reason why some spl guys on this forum NEVER reply to any of those 'how do i gain 5 db's posts'. The answer is very simple, yet many do not want to hear it or dont consider it good enough.

For SPL especially in street/stock there is NO loudest box. Everyone needs to come to realize that.

no I think the car has everything to do with being loud you can throw any gear in there and be loud. Bet you can put sony in there and break a 150 with ease.

Probably not as it's against the rules.

I'm going to talk to Moe Sab about it though.

Right now there really is NO benefit from my business. I'm sure you know all about startup costs and I'm not quitting my day job for this either. (so no extra 'shop time' for me) ...

If it's possible I'd like to finish off the season. There have been exceptions made in the past, so maybe it can happen again.

If not.... watch for Irene Fraser-Kealey to kick some stock *** this year (there's more than 1 way to skin a cat!)

At the very worst I'll just not compete in IASCA this year but jump to the pro-stock division next season when it becomes available.

In the mean-time I'll set the car up for dbDrags.

I never talked to Peter...

I will consider myself the coward though ... the one who asked you straight out down at SVR if you would rerun to back your number up because of the mic change.

I tried to save you the grief in doing so. Last year in Ontario, it happened a couple of times and the talk continued for weeks. The talk started down in the US so I gave you that chance to put an end to it.

People are asking how you went from a 144 to a 150+ . At the same time, people know that the mic went funny on Martine. This only leads people to wonder. The Petawawa show would have helped you quickly end the wonder, but unfortunately, you didn't make it.

Don't let it bother you, just keep working hard and get louder. It is what all competitors are out to do. If I was a judge at SVR, you would have been going back on the mic when it was changed. Not to question your number, but to be sure that all competitors were judged equally.

Good luck with the panda!! Hopefully with your sources, you will do well!
