Poor spl results

Unforunately I can't take the ring off, it is part of the basket. The max height I believe is 18"...maybe slightly more but it would be slightly.. The box right now is 16.75" IIRC, and the basket protrudes like 1" or more.. Of course if I don't have top mounted subs I wouldn't need a double baFfle on top.

pretty sure that 4 10 box hit like a TRUCK. i did build it so im bias. PM me deadly. its important.

Yeah, it did it hard... After three years of abuse its still solid. But it was time to try something new.

I think he thought 4ga not 4/0,

I think you seriously need more port, your choking them subs out a lil..looks good and should hit decently when you get the right combo...
Only real way to find out though is trial and error

I think Yuli meant 4/0, cuz he typed 4/0. I can see the validity to that statement. I can imagine the voltage drop in 4/0 for 12V would be significant enough to effect SPL. With multiple runs of 1/0 you get the power where it needs to be without major drops in voltage.
