Looks like that design will work. Probably pick up the wood on the fifteenth to do it.

Prob use some fiberglass off the huge roll I have in the closet to seal it off from the rest of the car.

 

Good to hear man. If you can, make it all one piece. If not, make it in two pieces, and seal the line down the middle. It will have to be connected with some flat metal or something. 2 pieces makes installing the subs easier, but hard to line up properly inside the trunk.

Good luck man, hope you enjoy it! It's the best way I know to get 4 10's ported firing forward in a trunk. Seal the face of the box from the trunk with fiberglass mat and you should be golden.

 

now to figure out how to do that with 16 12's in a truck. hahahhahah.
