Setting Amp

FINALLY, got everything together.

2 Lanzar Heritage HRWDC12 Subs. Both in a double chamber ported box.
Each chamber for sub is a total volume between 1.5 - 1.6 cubic feet. Vents are 4'' wide, and aprox 8'' long.

Manual calls for: Large Vented Box: 1.5 cubic feet, Vent: 4'' wide, 6'' long.

1 Lanzar Maz Pro St MXA 282 amp.

Subs are wired in Option 2 (series/parallel) = 4 ohm load
Voice coils wired in series, speakers wired in parallel
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono
( Used this off the12volt.com )

Subs: # Sensitivity: 87 dB
# RMS Power Range : 1000 Watts
# Peak Power Handling: 2000 Watts
# Impedance: Dual 4 Ohm
# Low Frequency response: 24 Hz
# High Frequency Response: 1000 Hz

Amp: # 2 x 1000 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms
# 2 x 2000 Watts Max at 4 Ohms
# 1 x 4000 Watts Max at 4 Ohms Bridged
# 2 x 1650 Watts at 2 Ohms RMS
# Electronic Crossover Network
# Bass Boost Circuit
# Variable Phase Shift Control
# 2 Ohms Stereo Stable
# Anti-Thump Turn-On
# Soft Turn On/Off
# High & Low Level Inputs
# Blue Light Illuminated Crossover Control
# Power & Protection LED Indicators
# Advanced Protection Circuitry
# Bass Boost Remote Control
# T.H.D: 0.04%
# S/N Ratio: 90dB

Car is a 1977 Monte Carlo. Fairly large trunk. Ports and speakers face top of trunk/lid.

My settings include..

Level: Just over 1/2
HPF: Lowest. 80Hz
LPF: Slightly below half. ( Ranges from 35hz - 400 )
Base B: 1/2 - 3/4. Changes for songs.
Phase: Slightly less then 3/4. ( Found I have them pritty much in phase )
Freq: LPF

I am still learning about audio, but anything else I could do, to try and product most SPL as possible.

ok what do you mean you hve them pretty much in phase. its either you do or you dont. next the input sensetivity controll is NOT A VOLUME yo need to match that to the outup voltage of you head unit. anyhoo have fun with you system
also the hpf will not affec anything if your runnig subs. hpf means hight pass filter and lpf is low pass filter

Better box ?
I make limited money being 17.
And it seemed to match the specs for the subs.

And car. Ha. Thanks.
I asked for some control tuning advise, not to be a ignorant ***.
