Hi, my friend purchase a Solo X 12, he basically want to daily drive the system but also want to do some SPL comp. The box he currently use only have 1.5cu/ft and the port is 1"x12"!

So, what kind of box would you suggest to get good SPL and good SQ for music??? Any readily available design on the net?

He's running it with a Bassworx ba3000.1d @1ohm.

One more thing, are the designs provided in the kicker manual "good"?

They recommend a 6ft/cu with 60" of port.

 

i'm going to say 3.5-4 cubes

it does need alot of port area though.
