Let's here everyone's suggustions:

I have $1000 CND, what equipment do you recommend? I want to be competitive in the Street "A" class. List reasons for using the equipment to just a simple statement...can it be done?

I want readily available gear...

How competitive? With 1g you won't be very competitve. Is that for the whole system or just sub and amps?

he is now at 148.6 from finals.

yah with $1g and in a neon it probalby wont happen. u will probably have to spend more than half on wood, glue and nails alone.

if u had a small hatch car and if u can figure out a loud box with in 2 to 3 attemps than MAYBE.

6th would be a 147.5

My opinion.. get a used d2 ($300), and used atomic quantum 10's ($350) I know that will break a 148 in a trunk car

Then that still leaves your $350 for wiring and head unit, etc..

2000 Neon...depends how different it is that a 1997 in resonance

but $1000 in street A is a bit tight tho.... $1500 is better

-Audiobahn AW1205Q very efficient doesnt need much power
-MMATS d300HC very effiecient for street class use
@ 1 ohm 0.2 dB more than a D2

you know with a 1000 bucks you could really make a statment . lets say you get 4 of the best legacy subs out there with 1 or 2 of there high current amplificactors you would probably have enough left over to pay your morgage for next month . lets be serious anything can be loud if it is built wright . i would love to see someone do something crazy like that.
