your trunk is huge so you should be able to build a nice big efficient box

It's hard to argue with you after reading that signature. What do you figure is the minimum port area for some solid numbers in about 5-6 cubes net? If I built my baffle differently, crammed everything together and made the box taller I might be able to do a slot with 70sq. inches or so using the 12's.

The max internal volume I could do in the trunk would probably be 7-8 cubes before any displacement, if I figured out how to effectively assemble things inside the trunk.
