Type-R's are cheap, Soundstream is better, and when's the last time you saw a recommendation for Power Acoustik, Audiopipe, or DB Drive?
Power Acoustic and Soundstream are under the same company fyi.

Figure out how large of a box you can fit in there and if it has be built in one section or two and then bolted together in the trunk. If you build this massive box for a pair of 15's and then find you can't get it into the trunk, you are going to be more than a little pissed. Build the box out of cardboard first if you must so that you can ensure that it fits. Once you know the dimensions you have to work with, then choose some subs to suit.

Listen to this.

After doing this, and you can still fit a pair of 15"s, then out of your list, I'd go Alpines. I do agree with others though, there definately is better than the alpines for your money.

I BARELY squeeezed two 15's in my trunk and I'm having to port thru the rear deck with aeroports (i got about 6.75 cubes after displacements)

I would suggest going with a pair of 12's instead in a proper sized ported enclosure.

I would also use only one of the hifonics amps, and get a pair of dual 4 ohm type arrggss. I hope you plan on some sort of electrical upgrades

With 12's you have more space for deadening, blankets etc. I could barely fit 3 cubes in an old body.

I agree with the 12's, we have the same car, for proper airspace for the 15's I dont think it will work and be livable.
I actually second the recomendation for Mach 5 Audio IXL's, that or Sundown SA-12's or even SSA Icons. (I may order one of the first 2 as well if you go with them)
