tips on best spl car

just my 2 cents but theres absolutely no point in building the car for iasca stock rules when theres 2 iasca shows all year locally.
Dbdrag and usaci are much more popular in western canada (and the rest of the world) so why not build your car to be legal and loud in all organizations?
Think of it this way...if you build for iasca rules (2 shows a year)you will be moved up a few classes in dbdrag (10 shows a year in bc alone) and will get spanked more than likely. But if you were to build for dbdrag rules and do decently, you would still be legal for iasca.
It would be different if we had 10 iasca shows a year and 2 dbdrag like we used to have in bc. But things change. And its nice to be able to compare your score to people all over the world rather than the 2-4 people per class that show up for iasca world finals.

Best bet is to pick a class and setup that will work best for your budget and vehicle.
Any of the street classes are going to be pretty tough competition but theres still a lot of room for improvement.
The way I see it.
Street A is a great class because you dont necessarily need to spend a whole wack of money to do well...and only 2 amps on one battery shouldnt put too much of a strain on the gear.
Street B gets a bit more pricey and can blow stuff up in a hurry running 4 amps off your one battery. Will require a lot of wire also to get the most out of your one batt.
Street C is very pricey...2 good batts and 4 amps not to mention usually 4 subs used. Twice as much gear to blow up as street A.
All classes will require a ton of work and tuning obviously.
