see I have used the same box in my car and hit a 145 even and then tossed it into a civic and hit a 141.8 .... then we tested a bunch ot diff freq..... and then tossed in an 80hz note and got the same freg response and then it was close to it.... a 143.7 it is definitely a vehicle specific idea that needs to be thought out...... and not just calculated

I think Loud Brown summed it up - similar in design or not, everything varies. Worse, I'd suggest that the speakers you are using vary from sample to sample more than you think.
So, you could theoretically build two seeming identical systems in two seemingly identical vehicles with drastically different results.

every panel in your car will make all the difference in your results , even if u left a old rag in the corner it can make u lose tenths . my Air freshner smells good but some times 10 of them will make me increse spl

i would say that being with'n .1 would be preaty darn difficult like menstioned above but if it wasn't possible to be that accurate with #'s were do you think astronauts would land if they were even half a degree of in there calculations of time and space?
