get a text to speech program that can verbally interpret the rule book for you since you can't read.

on a single 31 series optima the VR1000d as a single amp does just a bit over 1400 RMS car off sTart voltage aprox 13.2volts and not dropping less than 12.5 volts with only 2 runs of 1/0 for each pos and neg. from the front...
impedance was 0.35 start and rise just over 1 ohm... I believe it was 1.05 final ... who ever has my old NEON/ RE MT box has all the test results written on it...
car on voltage aprox 14-14.2 clamped that amp at just over 1700watts difference in output was a mere 0.5dB

For starters bro, this is DJ's thread. Therefore people are going to focus on what he is doing. We have a thread for DBdrag & bassrace questions. Feel free to use it.

As for your main question no-one with 1000 rms (or under) will have to compete with guys in the 2000 rms class (unless you go over 1000rms). HTH

I can believe these numbers... Crossfire amps are rated at 12.6v.. so the bmf1000 is supposed to do 1000w at 1 ohm on 12.6v.

Seeing it do 1700 at 1Ohm on 14.4? Sure.. I can believe it.

thanks wayne thats all I wanted to know I guess I misundertood him cause it seemed the way everyone was answering that someone with 1000 watts and two 10's would go against someone with two 12's and 2000 watts

anyways back on topic sorry jones

sweet numbers now is this just a spl set up or daily as well?
