Good job guys. I was a little surprised to see Cadence power wire instead of welding cable after that thread a while ago

Obviously working for ya though
Would you give it a "best bang for the buck" rating?
I've been soooo tempted to get a couple rolls.

I used the cadence to run from the amps to the distro blocks. Reason being is that they flex like ****. There is not much room on the side where the amps fit into the spare tire wall so we needed a wire that would really flex. Plus, with the more flexible wire we were able to use shorter pieces as well. At least 2 feet shorter.

Congrats on the numbers... thats just sick lol That box is insane.. hope to see the 160 one day from that car

Just a question, how do bus bars work? I have 2 batteries in my trunk + 1 battery up front... I'm going to be using only 1 amp this year and am thinking bus bars might be the easiest way to go. But id' like to be sure I know what im doing first :P

Pics would help :P

Thanks!!

K. Once the snow melts and this *********in cold goes its on bruddah.
I think that if we tweaked the car a bit and did a little more testing with the sono tube. It would happen or even moved the sewer pipe a little as we really didn't get a chance to do that? lol

battery up front and battery in the back are both connected to a large set of bus bars located under one of the panels in the back. then amps are hooked up to the central set of bus bars as well.

search for "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" threads in the SPL section (there are three threads with that title including this one) all pics are in those threads.

Thanks! Found it for anyone thats looking...

So the way it works is you run a few power wires from each battery to the bus bar(s) then run 1 wire from the other side into the amp? I'm guessing if you do this with the positive, you should do it with the negative as well as opposed to just using 1 ground?

I'm not looking to do anything like the extreme you have... cuz thats just insane (ur the man for doing that :P ) I'm just gonna run 2 power wires from each battery (4 runs from the 2 batteries in the trunk to the bus bar then 1 wire into the amp (since im only gonan run ~3,000 - 4,000 wrms

there is a central set of bus bars (big ones) that's everything is connnected to, both batts and amps.

If your only doing 4 runs skip the buss bars and keep it more simple. This is with 2+ and 2- runs. It all connects direct to the battery.
