Could I get some suggestions on amps that would match up nicely to a single 12L7. I'm planning on getting a 4ohm dvc at the moment, unless it matches a different amp.

I'd like to get relatively good quality with decent pricing.

jbl crown 6000gti would do ok i guesss

i know the kicker kx700 would match up pretty well...but the prices are a bit stiff for me.

something more affordable that i was looking at was phoenix gold octane r8.1 - which apparently puts out 800w rms...but i haven't heard much about it.

what do u think of hifonics brutus amps?

I was using a Cadence Z7000 for my old S12L7 and now I am using the SX1200.1 (2) for my soloX. Gobs of power...at a price !

 

HAHAHAHA---that would be soooo crazy. I'd love to see that thing power up for a second or 2

 

I have done a setup with a JBL 600.1 on a 12L5, worked very well, would probably be good with the 12L7, also...
