my attitude or your attitude? b/c my "dont come then" is obvously triggered by your comments that were based on nothing. so far, you are the only one who has said anything about noobs being picked on and im guessing you havent been to a single show. well, with an attitude like that you might as well stay home and watch cartoons. cuz if you do come, all you gonna do is whine and cry about loosing and how unfair everything is and how you should get first without trying.
u do not even know what happens at car audio competitions, yet you have a negative view and opinion of it as a noob. buddy, its your attitude.
I want people that badly? why would i want anything or anyone? i dont own the sport nor do i make money from it. I could always deal with less crying and bitching tho. If a competative attidude scares you, good luck in life.
so do you want people to ask you to come? lol dude really, go watch some cartoons.

I don't think classes have anything to do with it, as I mentioned above. It's the attitude. "Don't come then." Ok, I won't.

From what I've seen, the noobs usually get shitty answers on the forum, but not always. In fact, most of the people here are very helpful, but their jokes while funny to their group of friends, to the new kid may be scary.
At the events from what i have seen (even though i haven't talked to everyone) people are very friendly and helpful... I talk to a couple people from this forum on and off of it, they have been VERY helpful!
I think 'noobs' just need a real dumbed down manual of what they need to compete, like an FAQ almost.
When a sport doesn't encourage growth, it dies. We have to remember, this is a business for many people as well, and even they don't encourage growth......
From the shows I've been too it seems like a core group of people and very few new people coming out. I goto shows, i don't compete and yes, people have talked about that.
I would say i am a noob coming back into the sport, and while my position on the forum may play a roll in it, i would say i have had some people welcome me to the sport and educate me while others have scoffed / laughed and talked .
There are a few passionate people who truly do what they do for the love of the sport, they have that contagious bug where they make others want to be involved too... i would say Yuli is one of them. Now if he cut out some of the sarcastic responses online, he would likely do even more for the sport. But it's not his roll to fix it or make it right...

Theres comments made from people that don't even support the sport take a walk. I started doing some shows in 2003 124.?db. 2004 redid my system 137.6 db is what i started at. The scores I do now is cause I have gotten in to see what I can pull off with what I have not to beat any one but it is a competition so people win and lose. I have lost many of times and still do. a comment was said it's about fun hell ya I have gone places where for any other reson whould not have gone to have met some great people. Mini street is a good idea for people that can't afford to go big nor can afford to use the vehicle just for spl.
Some noobs Know me so to the newbies I say this to you It has not happen to me personaly but hey if you lose and the guy that beats you and they rub it in and gloat brush it off cause they won't last long true Spler's don't respect that sort of thing I feel

^^^ yep, look at the 2x, for the most part when someone was eliminated they shook hands, congradulated their opponent and that was that. Not much gloating or boasting going on. Hell yuli smoked me i went over and hugged the guy just for jokes. When I eliminated mike meuller we shook hands, he congradulated me on my first ever not in testing 150 and told me he loves competing against me because me and him are so close it makes it fun and keeps him busy working to get louder. My first show i got killed by like 8 db's but it was all in fun. Online everyone has a different persona than in person. Yuli, among others is one of the most helpfull people you'll ever see at a show. Always helping the new guys get louder, never brings an attitude to the show, and NEVER boasts or gloats. Don't ever beleive that someone's online personality is how they are in real life.

with my kids... but only till Sept 9th
