I have a pair of RD Elite SPL 12"s in the for sale section...not trying to jack the thread or anything.

I heard good things about them but I did not (do not) have enough juice to power them ATM and have my mind set on something different now.

Have you ever used all the subs that were mentioned? I know many people myself included who have launched Atomix APXs with far less power than we are putting on the TFOnes

Ill second the fact that the atomics seem to blow pretty easy.

I had 2 APX's and they blew within 15 min of testing I then got recones for them and they blew on 400 watts during break in.

These are still to this day the only subs I have blown up.

I never had a problem with any of my atomic subs including one of my APX that i put around 5000rms into it then the tinsel on the inside of the coil blew , everything was intact still. the other coil is still alive and i would love to put it agains another sub in a wall socket test. years ago The only sub that blown was a DD 9912 which was lent to a friend as all the coils unwound. 2500 and 3500 are not spl subs dude .......thats based on my tests

Well we have 2 Apx 12's in Amy's crx and they held 2 Atomic 7000.1's. We managed a 155.4 so I would say they arent too bad imo. I would sure like to try some different woofers for next season to see if we see a gain or not just by switching out.
