whats your favorite org ??
We did USACi at our first show in 08', I did not like it due to the fact that it seemed too loose on the rules, therefore I would run db drags for the next 2 years following. This year with USACi being more popular I chose this format again. I like that the classes are easier for beginners, although, I still think the db drag format is a better format for those who want to build a true competition vehicle. So USACi for the everyday driver, and db Drags for the hard core comp vehicle only.
agreed its alot differnt , then the other orgs , but at the same time its fun gets everyone envolved , its nice to see gains with the doors open smaller stereos can compete with the larger stereos its nice to see
At this point theyre all dieing so any organization that actually puts on shows is a good one.
I prefer dbdrags head to head style and using the TL since I dont really like the ac190 since its not used nearly as much worldwide so its difficult to compare scores. However I think the classes should be completely changed. I think nspl has it on the nose. Going by power, cone area, and vehicle type.
USACi I never understood what the point was of putting the sensor in the globe and jamming it halfway under your dash just to put up a bigger number.
MECA does or did headrest scores which was a good idea but difficult to regulate.
Anything with bassrace/bass boxing/street beat will be more fun for competitors and draw the crowd in more. Competitors also dont need huge $ setups to win.
MECA drive-by is a cool class too in my opinion.

i like the db drag format , going head to head is cool , but more or less now im looking at what org gives back the most to the competitor , and that being said iasca is starting to go above and beyond for the competitors
NSPL has a good set of rules.
I think driveby should be implemented into local shows...not necessarily driving by but sensor outside the vehicle with a door open. That way the crowd can get a feel of how loud the setups really are.
It would be interesting to see an extreme drive by class.
