u said as loud as him? i think he will play music much louder, even if it sounds like doo doo, it will still be stupid loud. people think there is a big diff. between tones and music when it comes to SPL, but there really isnt much of a difference. it's just easier to work and tune with a tone.

a car that can burp 160 can play music at close to 160, there wont be a 10 db difference between the two at all.

next week we will play music in the golf on the big SD amp. it will break 150, im more than certain. I'm gonna predict it will break 152 on music.

 

So started the tear down today I am getting soo excited to get some wood in the van. Kids are very helpful with this project also lol my son watches Mighty Machines everyday and he tells me he can build my box for me lol. The second pic is my first question so I know in SS or SM you cant do anything in front of B pillar so would I be able to cut this right at the B pillar??? and just a few pics of what I got done today. Not very exciting yet but its got to start somewhere lol.

Ya I left the headliner from the B pillar forward just don't know about the lights on the roof it goes past the B pillar will I be able to cut it ? I would not be able to build my box as tall as I want to.

 

My understanding is anything from between the B's rear is fair game. Cut the console.
