05 Rumble Bee

the rumblebee came in more colors than yellow ...... I've seen red and black ones ......it's a body kit(lower skirts), hood scoop, stripes, exhuast, interior trim and a few other misc dress up items... it is an apperance package like the SST package was .....the option cost about 3 grand and it can be had on both 2wd and 4x4's ...... there's a yellow 4x4 rumblebee at our local dealer right now.
the option could also be had on quad cabs but was callled the Ram hemi sport package or something like that.
I'm not sure I'd call it useless ...... it's an apperance package just like the RS option was an apperance package on the camaro's ....... some people like good looking turcks eh

Originally supposed to be 3700 total. However, more than 3700 were produced. The final number appears to be 6703.
Original production: 1700 black (400 4x4)
Original production: 2000 yellow (600 4x4)
Original production: 1000 shipped to Canada"
apperantly only yellow and black .....but I swear I saw a red one in regina last fall ????

^ Yep, except they fuglied up the Ram even more on the Daytona package by putting a giant 69 Daytona-ish wing on the back and that bum stripe. A Rumble Bee looks WAY better than that sacrelige.
I'd be suprised if the Rumble Bee had that low of production numbers. I see a LOT of them. I remember when the Dakota R/T first came out and they were limited to 5000 units in the first year and I saw much less of them. I figured the Rumble Bee was not limited at all considering the number I see of them. Not a bad looking package but for $3k just in appearance goodies, I'd probably pass and just buy a regular Ram 1500 Hemi with the Sport package, 2wd and use the $3k to drop it and do a few mild performance mods.
