Advice about Audibahn A8002T
#11
Audiobahn makes a nice mid range lineup. There not super high-end but there also not low-end. The intake series amps are a good mid level amp. And I agree $275 is a little steap. (Also depends on how long they had it, if it was driven hard, and does it looked beat up?) I would say no more then half of retail so about $175 and I don't mean what he paid for it. I mean what you can buy them for now. Yes there rating are a little on the high side. I would say that the 8002 will do about 600RMS. Rule of thumb is 1amp of fusing will produce about 10W rms on a a/b type amp. And that amp has 60amps worth of fusing. Remember this is only a guide line. Remember alot of guys here are running super high-end equipment and have been into for a while and thats not a bad thing but its very hard to look back when your at the top But you have to start somewhere and get what you can afford.

I don't like them personally, but I have been told by a reputable owner/ installer/spl champion in the woodbridge area that he thinks they are fine, and that most car audiophiles diss them cause they are a little flashy. He says he sells lots of them and has no problems. This was 3 months ago so things may have changed.
