The W7 mentioned is a great sub. But it is anything but efficient. It needs a ton of power to work well.

i dunno w7 worked well for me on a 600w amp, could get it to move. it depends though what's your reference of efficient .
after all isn't it a matter of integrating with the rest. its pricey though.


the sdx10s look darn good for a hundred. if i was in the market for 10s i'd get a couple to play around. funny how xbl2 is so affordable now with a couple of woofers around for not much. wonder how well they are implemented. judging from shiva/tempest-x it's not bad .

If your on a budget, the GTi, Type X , W7, IDMAX are all out.

Consider the Peerless XXXLS subs. Great allround sub, and not too expensive.

If it's in your budget, definitely check out the IDMAX...extremely efficient too.

A lot of the TC Sounds made subs are also very competent as well.

I am actually going to grab a couple. Curiosity took over, and cannot lose for 100 bux a pop, cause I got 1.2 cubes sealed 2x10" box.
