ya I would make sense to seal it and save on space I guess? and with the amount of power I have for it, I don't think I'd be sacrificing much on performance?

p.s. ya Dan I'll drop by later on tonight.

Explain and define infrasonized please. I have never heard this term and it does not exist in the quick dictionary search I have done.

I can see the value of a subsonic filter on a ported system sure, in a sealed though it is going to make a marginal difference.

Infrasonized.....must be a Eastern thing.....

Well, I know that in my case, I have the subsonic filter on in a sealed system cuz the subs were just playing back WAY too much below 20hz and rattling a lot of panels uselessly...

if you have it...why not use it. At least the amp won't be wasting power trying to play ultra low frequencies. I have my sealed system cut at 20hz and 30db/oct. I don't hear a difference on or off, but as soon as I cut it at 25-30hz...definitely a big difference, and actually sounds really good with certain tracks that have been engineered with too much rumble...tightens right up!

I get rattles anyways from sheer output, but with subsonic on, subs distort a lot less, as there is no need for extra excursion to produce those low freqs, and you can push the subs a lot harder this way.

Thank you, John. Everyone understood, but one, must be an individual thing. I just dont see how, the word root is right there in plain view. Someone's deaf and blind, and no help at all.
