Cables Part 2
The Monster XLN Pro cable is a well packaged wire. But, it didn't make me want to listen to a whole cd start to finish the way the Kimber silver did. That's my experience, and my first cable choice.
I can't afford the Kimber Silver, so I'm off looking for something close but cheaper.
Again, I wouldn't be posting this if I didn't honestly feel that interconnect made that big a choice. I don't believe everyone will benifit from better cable than the XLN Pro, so make your own decisions. But I would like to at least encourage people to use their ears. Do some tests, make your own decisions.

^ I don’t believe anyone has spouted manufacturer drivel in quite a while... and George has a point that there is a lot of 'bad science' spouted by cable manufacturers. They are doing what they have to do to break out of the 'me too' designs. Unfortunately any wild claims that are true will be swept under the rug.
If George speaks in the 3rd person does that mean we should address George in the first or second person?

Hey PEI
If you are deciding to build your own IC's, I have had good luck with Deltron, Alpha Core and Puresonic RCA terminations. I can't remember the model numbers off hand but spent too much money comparing them and many others (build quilty, ease of use, materials, etc........). PM me if you would like the numbers.

Unless you have noise issues, one cable isnt gonna make a lick of difference over another cable.
Try and double blind A/B compairson with interconnects made from coathangers and you kimber cables and you should catch my drift....
