Can this be useful in a car?
I think it is just another tool in the toolbox. In other words, it gives me another way to address annoying problems. And I have used double-sided foam tape (3M) for years. B&W is doing a good job of convincing the consumer that inexpensive plastic pieces improve sound (and I will take them at their word but...).
Cryo CD's I have never heard one... strikes me as voodoo but I will keep an open mind.

I can't honestly say that it does or does not work well, and it could very well be a markting ploy. But what I do know is, that I've heard the B&W 803's and they sound absolutely fantastic. I realize that Decoupling is likely not the only reason why they sound so good, but if it didn't make some kind of difference, I don't imagine a company like B&W would want anything to do with it.
LMAO
Bottom line is if you can hear an enclosure buzzing or rattling you have a problem... if it is good and rigid then any vibration from the enclosure is going to be well above what you can hear....
also there is currently no power cord technology available that can help flow power more efficiently, or elimiate noise being induced into a reciver that I know of...

Monster Cable uses a dielectric core to all their top end power wire. Supposidly it helps lower resistance at higher current flow. But, I've got no instruments to test their claim. Maybe Dave Mac could enlighten us on this...

Like I said before, if it didn't do anything, it wouldn't be there.
not everything is a sales ploy man.
I strongly believe in Monster Cable and thier products. I've seen one Monster Cable product not function properly, it was an RCA and it only died because it was being severly pinched. Other than that, I've never even heard of a problem with Monster and my experince with them was definatly great.
If monster researched something, and they say it work, then by god, I believe them.

^ If Noel Lee told me the sky was blue I would look up to make sure.
And when it comes to audio - there is a slew of product out there that does nothing but yet it exists. Care for some $400ea. exotic wood ***** for your stereo or a $500 set of hockey pucks to "tune" your room with?

Where did the Monster Cable end up in this series of tests?
I think you're putting a little too much faith in Monster Cables.... I'd believe an unbiased review rather than their marketing...
