Hi guys,

I currently am running eclipse amplifiers, a 2-channel bridged on my subs and a 4 channel for my highs. They are the premium seriese from 2004.

I saw the best SQ amps post and didn't see anyone mentioning Eclipse amplifiers there. Would i really gain that much more out of my sound by upgrading amplifiers. I am running eqt's as well as a 6XS. With an eclipse amplifier.

I have listened to Audison amplifiers and find them to sound warm and clean, the best sound i have heard has been from Butler tube drivers, but they are weak in power and quite large.

Keep your amps. If you have the power and number of channels you need. It would just be a waste of money.

I'm with Fozzz on this as well... but is a VERY debatable topic.

 

I understand it is debatable, i guess i'm looking to see if the investment would equal the improvement.

Do you like what you have? because thats all that really matters.

Now if you're looking to upgrade or get new amps... thats another story

 

they are probably right, but just in case you should give that eclipse amp to me and try a bunch of different stuff
