Chirping noise when changing tracks or playing CD in CD changer...

Hi there, I hope someone can help me out, I have a JVC CD changer with a JVC head unit. When I play a CD ibn the head unit every thing is fin but when I play a CD i my CD changer I get a chirping noise when changing tracks or sometimes during playback, approx every second. Any ideas what the problem is? Could it be a grouning issue or is there maybe a problem with the CD changer?
Thanks for any help!!!

there should be no niose once the unit is playing. while the unit plays wiggle the connectors. l had issue with processor to head. other then that try grounding the head and the changer at the same spot.
sounds like a faulty changer. try and play it with a portable radio
good luck
