Question

So i find out my CDT Hd 4" speakers are messed up and im gonna have to replace them. I can get replacement ones for $105US shipped but that seems a little steep right now.

So I am wondering if anyone has any good suggestions as far as 4" mid-range speakers that arent too expensive. I found some nice Tangband 4" speakers on partsexpress but they are only rated for 40wrms so i dont wanna blow em, eventhough im not sure how my crossover splits up the power. Also the speakers are 4ohm and my cdt's are 3.5, would this make a big impact on anything?

Last question is what is the best way to test for a blown tweeter? I just wanna make sure my tweets arent messsed up like my 4"

note to self, never let friends touch ur volume ****
