Crossover help

It all depends on the db slope of the crossover as well......

I've got some a/d/s separates that were sounding great using their passive crossover, not biamped and with a filter that i think was 150hz but maybe lower. Vocals were very forward and just right on. So i put it into a shop to get the mids installed better (long story) So they recommend bi-amping the separates and they take the filter off. So now each mid is getting less power as they were bridged before, and the filter is off letting more bass through and the vocals sound like they are under the carpet and very muddy.

My thought is to put the filter back in....go back to one channel running each mid/tweet and see if that takes it back to where it was. Any comments? btw the mids were 5.25
