I want to get a sealed enclosure for 2 Phoenix Gold Xenon 12" sub

I wanted to know if the enclosure need to separate the two sub in the middle or they need to connect each other by the inside?

Most people will say to put a solid divider in the middle to separate the subs, that way if one sub blows or one sub is somehow more powerful than the other, they can still play loud and not disturb each other.

I almost always share the enclosure space. Haven't run into any problems yet.

If you don't mind doing the extra work of putting in the divider, then it's worth doing just in case one of the subs bags out. One sub in the proper volume will sound better than one in twice the proper volume, it's actually a better idea to do it in a vented system because they are very volume dependent for good sound. All that said, I am still too lazy to put in a divider.
