which EQ?

^ tim i know there is a difference. And i know what the differences are.
It is only a difference in what we call it. Myself and the industry people i talk to consider a eq that doesn't have seperate left/right adjustment a mono eq. "mono" in this cause meaning adjustments are done in mono (Sinlge adjustment effects both bands). I thought i was clear on this in my first post when i said "mono bands". no where did i say or mention that the eq didnt have left/right seperation.. that would be, stupid. lol
Ah well i guess we could just call these types of eq's (eq210) "crap" sense thats what they are .

I got the idea anyway...understanding that L/R are basically locked, adjusted as one, etc. That is of no use to me. Crap is a good term to use there.
I know that the aux input adapter is not too expensive, I just was looking into the possible opportunity to upgrade some of my system at the same time, without spending too much more, and in the end also accomplishing what the aux input adapter would do.
So far crutchfeild is the only place that i've found the adapter at, but at a 100 bucks u.s., it doesn't make much sense when a cheap sony changer would do the same job. All I have to do is hide it so no one can see it and make fun of me......oh...and not use the changer of course.

well i had the 910 with 210 eq and loved the fact that i could adjust in real time from my front seat. very convienient. but lacked a constant q and not enough bands and couldnt tweek left and right side seperately. then i went to the pg. 232 and then to a pair of eqts. so the sony set up is awsome easy and very conveinient( no tweet run to seat, listen, run to trunk adjust, run to seat, listen, ect...) but there is no substitute for mono block eqs. now if they could just make a 31 band mono block eq in the digital domain that can be controled form the dash........BOING!!!! AUDIO CONTROL DQT. please go play with one at your local audio control dealer and you will love it.
