That wasn't a Dakota R/T that you are thinking of was it? I remember one being done by a local shop that used 6 in a modified MTX Thunderform box that was also ported.

no it was a regular cab chevy s10, new body style, and i did it about 7-8 years ago, sounded great but needed lots of em

I cut big holes in my dash and mounted them free-air [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

Eventually they'll go in an enclosure in the Cavalier but for now they'll just sit around in my closet.

Nissan Guy....

I am currently doing research to replace my stock setup. It was recommended to me to upgrade my front end component set, and replace the stock 6X9s in the rear with 2 Focal 5WS on each side. (4 total) Mounted in custom made not ported fiberglass enclosures.

The owner of the shop that advised me to do this has won world championships, and when I asked him if I could get away with 1 each side....he shook his head and said "no way"
