lol. Yeah, I'm a slow installer too. I don't mind working slow, though. Its better than working fast and doing a shitty job. and since my work STILL turn out shitty, I don't even want to know what it'd look like if I worked quickly!

Congrats on on the toys....this is my daily driver and if you read up I did pre-test and the imaging is controllable and quite enjoyable!. This is not for looks this is for my commute and maybe to compete if I get it up to that level maybe next year doubt this year!

Buddy, try not to hate too hard. Maybe you would like my other car or my 2 sportbikes or my boat? But probably not even though they all have systems. Anyway, I think speakers on the dash will sound like crap. Too close, hard to image etc., but maybe they will sound great, I doubt it though. Also, unless this guy is a master installer, it is going to look crappy compared to that nice , new interior. That's my OPINION. And what does the amount of posts have to do with my car audio knowledge? Really, I would like to know the correlation, or the relevence? Anyway, you proved your intelligence with one post.
But I am interested in this thread and will stay tuned cause maybe it will be great and I will learn a little sumptin ,sumptin.

about 90% of the best sounding cars in the world have dash mounted speakers.

... really, Is that so? So why are people putting speakers in kicks? Just curious.
Also, it is still probably going to look crappy, unless this guys skills are insane....But I will wait for pics to prove me wrong.
P.S. I bet you're fat. Aren't you?
Now go back to playing Guitar Hero.
Hahaha.

and yes, it is "SO" I didn't pick the %80 number at random, 8 of the top ten finishers at IASCA world finals had dash mounted speakers.
Not that Iasca is the end all be all of sound quality, but it is one our few forms of measuring success in that department (not to everyone's agreement for sure)
Does it look pretty?...nope, not really...... do most people seeking great sound care about looks as much as you obviously do?...nope, probably not.
you and all your pretty things take care.

The point got across though.
I don’t think mounting mids in your dash is ugly. It can be, but that would depend on the install and the theme of the install. I'm sure "1sweetLincoln" is just pulling peoples chains, as few people are low brow enough to make such comments. Just stirring the pot if you will.
One of my only concerns when doing mids up high is that the driver can see out of the car.
