Just make your own crossovers if your going 3way. I would be more then happy to help you with them.

good thread guys ..! I'm planning on getting some 3 way componants for my car in a few months., but I was thinking of getting a pair of CDT! aren't these good speakers and how do they compare to the others mentioned in this thread?

I prefer Hybrid Legatia and Focal K2P over CDT ES. CDT 07 woofer is pretty incredible, but CDT tweeters are so-so for the "" purists. At this level of performance and with proper install and tuning the differences between the three sets are marginal. It comes down to what kind of deal you can get.

I would throw out the CDT out of the equation and add Hertz MLK165 instead. These three sets are truly amazing if you like crisp upper end with Focal being the brightest, and Hertz the mellowest.

That's awesome Fozzz. Would you also post it as a build log so we would all learn how to do this? I'd love to learn. I'm familiar with the components just not how they effect the frequency.
