Second you guys have all amazing points all right! 100%...I should not have started here but at the time "Mr.Know It All" wasn't answering his phone and i was bored young immature and started saying bullshit **at first**

My bitching does not have to do with the way it looks it looks sick never once said it didn't!

My issues were being Ripped off!, original budget was $1500 he changed it to $2000 because he convinced me it would be worth it and he would do extra...which he did not. The extra $500 went somewhere i dont know where "Mr.Know It All" was supposed to do everything himself he chose to hire "honda Fit" if he paid him i dont know the $500 could have went to him no idea. But "honda fit" built my box because when i went over a couple times 50% of the time "Mr.Know It All" was working on someone elses vehicle and the only person who had patience and did not talk down to me was "honda fit"!

Also all the things he didn't do not going to go through them if you read my mess of a story there ALL in there! ( all the stuff he broke has not been fixed) coulnd't see myself paying him more money to fix is mistakes!

Again all previous convos about HAT and Focal are half my opinion the rest BS...im just a Focal fan obviously lol... and have had access,polyglass,k2p...and "honda fit" is right for SQ HAT does better you will know this if you have ever sat in MR Fits car!!! Crazy! but hes right im young dumb have to huge subs that shake everything ive went for SPL and now i want something to scream a block away until im deaf and i think Focal can do that well thats all!

So after all that said again came off as a huge idiot jackass but was pissed, sooo angry as u can imagine if you been keeping posted and the only things "Mr.Know It All" can do is drop off $500 in a envelope at my door! and i will keep my mouth shut and forget the hole thing never happened!

Sorry if i forgot anything i was at work missed a lot to much good stuff to take all in haha!

Oh yah "FIT" you keep on surprising me time after time after time dude haha you put a lot of work into your post well appreciated!!!!!

Peace!
4 hours man - 4 hours. I just wanted you and everyone to understand what needed to be cleared up in this thread. Good luck tomorrow with Mat

Thanks for stepping up Mr hheatt. This is tough as you ARE obviously young (read young hot blooded male) and feel wronged (and you are probably right and wrong in your assessments). This happens when money and labor are involved (the payer always thinks he paid too much and the provider of services feels he gave away too much to a whiny customer). The problem comes when the customer expects too much or the vendor provides too little or when the understanding of what is to be done is miscommunicated. I think each of that happened and I know that nothing feels fair or just for either party.

-Customers need to fully understand the work being promised, and be prepared to pay the price
-vendors need to provide the service and show the customer the work was performed as agreed upon
-contract disputes happen all the time, if each side can swallow their pride and do what is right then there is a ending (not a happy ending but no knife throwing)
-the customer has rights and they need to be respected
-the vendor has no rights but should make money at the end of the day, do a good job 100 times and the vendor will get respect (do it wrong once and your a bum)
- everything that worked should still work, and the new stuff should work, and you should get the stuff you paid for (been there, did it, rode the sux to be me train)

Wow 4 hours!!!! "fit" ur nuts! lol

Vroom i know exactly what you mean dude your right but again i think the only reason why im so pissed is because my stereo is not working! i would have paid ANOTHER $500 to get it going i don't care i am not a cheap person "Mr.Know It All" knows this!

Maybe if it was running working properly things weren't broken that were working before i brought it to him i would be very proud of my truck, excited, wanting to show it off! but i cant dude...hey man can i listen to it ive been waiting uve spent so much money i wanna hear it...this is what im being asked and im so tired and depressed to even talk about it.

After all said and done i wont be excited just happy its finally over with and done! that's not fair to me when things were promised at the beginning and "Mr.Know It All" did not do them! that's the problem i have!

Again, when is this going to be moved to an off topic related matter. hheatt we all now know your situation and it does NOT reflect Focal vs Hybrid. Please don't make me sit here for another 4 hours to explain why

It SHOULD have been closed a long time ago... unfortunately I was away for business last week and Rick has been preoccupied with some other personal matters so we haven't been able to check these things as often as we normally would.

I had checked it once or twice while I was away and everything SEEMED to be cool but I guess that changed in a hurry.

For everyone asking "why isn't this closed" ... next time please use the "report post" button so it can be brought to my attention in a more obvious way.

Also... hheatt has been given a temporary vacation. This isn't ENTIRELY due to his actions here. Sure, I think he was over the top but more worthy of a warning than a ban.

Unfortunately we work on a points system here and the warning he got pushed him over the limit. He'll be back in a little while.

When he does I hope he's able to provide some sort of evidence about the poor quality of his install.... for now though, this thread is closed.

^ I'm sure Jordy meant to include me in that post somewhere

I've been away most weekends though this summer. Using the ReportPost button is the best way to get the quickest response.
