so straight up jason, you were hired to do a job, and u messed up, the least u can do is man up and admit where u were wrong.
The install looks great, props to u and julian( i belive is his name, dude with the fit) on a nice lookin install.
But having a nice install is step 1, having a functional instal is another. when voltage dips below 8v and amps shut off, its kinda hard to belive u did the big 3 under the hood like u said u were gonna do. so i took a lil gander under the hood, NO CHANCE. and then u have the ***** to say(after u were payed to do it) that u can do it for a few hundred bucks more...MY ***.
Remmeber that time that the Steering wheel controls, backup cammera, USB all worked when u started all ur work and now it dosnt? and then u said ud fix it and u "wont hose him" and only charge him for a couple hours. HA
Or remember that time that there was piles of sawdust left in a freshly detailed truck that u were just payed to do an install in?...i geuss 4 bux at a car wash is a lil too much money to spend to give a customer back there vehicle in the same respectably clean manner it was dropped off in.
and remmeber that time you said you would tune the system?...seems kind of impossible when the entire setup shuts off at volume 22 and less output than a factory stereo with 8v at the amps.
and how did u come up with a spl number that u gave him when the amps shut down before they come anywhere near that number. and u supposedly did that number with only 1 out of the 2 batteries that were in there.
and remmeber that time that your a disgrace to the 12v world, i dont know or care what u did in the past and what u may do in the future, any good shop/installer/person would NEVER let somethign like this leave there place of buisness saying its working fine. if it needed soemthign else to work properly, why didnt u meantion "hey, it dosnt quite work right, id recomend this then all will be good"...instead u just said, alls good, thanks for paying me way too much money for way too little of work, and i hope ur not smart enuf to realise what happened and i can get even more money out of u in the future.

Well thank u very much. Like I said aren't I the popular one. I could send u a big list right back at u but I can wait until I see u OR better yet the owner of the truck in person. Other thing that is odd is none of this was mentioned to me in person or when the truck was brought back for LED work. Instead you took this route to get your point across!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still trying to figure out how me not making u happy, translated into Hybrid Audio being sub par and How IASCA is fixed?

id very much like to have a talk with you, and i know the owner also wants an explanation. there is still a good sized list of other things that are broken/wrong that i did not meantion in my little story. the owner tried contacting you and you wouldnt answer so thats why this happened.
you brought this on yourself bud, i very much look forward to having the owner finish the list. odds are me or him wont come see you to talk about this, since i dont like dumb people. and you deffinatly wont be touching the truck again since uve just made things worse. and broken things along the way.
he was a perfect customer, anything u needed for the truck he went and got, u didnt have to lift a finger. id hate to see what u do to a customer that is hounding u the entire time and making u find everything urself.

Im going to stop beating around the bush since someone already started...you this guy has an outstanding reputation i was told by many many ppl hes the best ive learned everything from him blah blah blah...i needed a install i was rocking 1 12" w7 in the h.o. box and a 1000/1v2 and a 800 kinetik battery in the back and 3 way focal polyglass up front with rear fill stock bose speakers....now hearing all these wonderful things about the "man of the hour" i met him recognized him he actuallly sold me my first set of focal access speakers when him and his brother owned there own shop, so i was talking to his wife (very nice lady) and she said swing by anytime "man of the hour" does everything out of his garage i said great...gave me his email etc...met up i said i want a sick install nothing that looks like something that came out of a garage he said i can do anything you want ive done everything i said cool i told him my plan was getting another 12" w7 and another 1000/1v2 a 701 processor for the new focal krx3 that a friend installed for me and i said i need done in 2 weeks! just in time for SCRAPE! so we chose a vinyl that matches my leather and black accents great do ur thing....so i dropped off 2 12"w7s, 2 1000/1v2s ,300/2v2,701 processor, led flush switches, 0 gauge wiring , and jl everything fuses, fuse blocks, fuse adaptors, distribution blocks,top of the line jl RCAs, everything he needed thanks to hi fi! when ever he needed something i went to go get it! like optical cable for my 505 alpine deck which u need when using the 701 processor...so he was supposed to build the box set it up i mentioned sub up port back which he did, he was supposed to do the big 3 under my hood which he didnt, did not tune it, sent me off my way with back up camera not working, a crack in my rear panel inside, spent a lot of money on a detail before i brought it to him..i had to spend 45 min cleaning, and he didnt even do it him self "hond fit" built the box helped rap it, so 4 days before due date he said lets do plexi his guy didnt do CNC etching my buddy did, had it to him next morning finished! i asked if he could put a odyssey battery in for me turns out its only top post he said dude u need + and - adaptors guess what hi fi had them specially brought down next day just in time for him to do it...oh wait its not installed darn...his exscuse it wont fit...it does fit...2 days before finishing o i cant get blue leds for ur plexi o really thanks for the short notice "honda fit" says order online next day shipping $100...i called they couldnt guarantee it next day since i live in canada...so truck wasnt finished for scrape! spent $240 in leds with the shipping brought it back to him nice and CLEAN since i cleaned it before scrape got it back dirty again and usb key doesnt work and steering controlls now dont work and did not fix the back up camera because he said" the wire was fraid" no dumbass u pull the deck out attach the wire back... he said oh hey dude just leave it with my again and ill only charge u more money to fix what i broke in the first place thats awesome thanks dude soo much!! so nice of you!!! and $240 worth of leds he didnt even make my 300/2 light up which he was supposed to do wtf??...so thanks to all the guys at hi fi they spent there time just trying to fix somebodys mistakes and get me kinda running ( and they did it for free because im that good of a customer and i spent that much money with them) because he put too small of fuses in for me didnt buy any had to get proper ones from a freind, hi fi figured outwhy i was dropping from 13.8V to 8V which so and so did not tell me! they told me and they upgraded the wire from the alternator to the battery for the mean time which so and so was supposed to do, told me all this crap about it being ready it pounds hope u enjoy it sounds great im left with no music un-tuned stereo that ive spent thousands on just equipment alone from hi fi everything brand new!!! he threw out my warranty box for my W7 that i need if i ever have a problem gave me attitude when i asked for it iw anted it with my wood trim rings and all the manuals because i keep all of that just the way i am...told me i know the owner of JL i can get a new one for you blah blah blah where is it? dont have one! this guy paid for vinyl and MDF how much is that $300 bucks...he did NO leg work i brought everything to him!!! paid for EVERYTHING he needed top of the line everything what did you do with the other $1700
So MR. know it all talks a big talk but really doesnt do ! too funny! makes someone else do all the work which "FIT" did a great job! and whenever "fit" had an idea so and so hushed him and pretty much said more $$ how much more money do you want from me im 23 years old ive spent ENUFF! all i want is my stereo to my working and i never want you to touch my truck ever again and i hope everyone knows that your a rip off and you take advantage of ppl that trust you! and and by the way my budget was stated $1500 for some reason you changed it to $2000 what did you do for the extra $500 buddy???????????????? i guess im the dumbass that paid a goof! and got screwed and has to ask true friends to fix it for me now that im broke...for now...and have no running stereo and no music actually thanks to you!
Also for someone that knows his stuff why didnt you tell me if i needed anything else? you can obviously see i havent cheaped out on anything!!! jl stuff is not cheap..lol a little over priced brand new haha but oh well...u just sent me on my way.."he will be back, ill just charge him more money" and you lied acted like everything is great! you did such a good job! serious look in the mirror your not that good!

Say what you want about, hybrid, focal....whatever but i think your going to be hard pressed to find any people that will agree with you when you call someones charcter into question like you did with jason....if you have a person issue with him....take it up elsewhere....not here....you have a legit opinion on the speakers the original poster asked about and so be it, thats your right.....but i would have preferred you keep the other stuff to pm's and alley fights

this thread was about the opinions between 2 speakers i know nothin about...lol
he may have said things about some speakers he didnt mean and that he was just angry at one person who represented those speakers poorly.
