Focal 3 way separates K3's with Utopia X-overs

Focal Poly-Kevlar series 3 way separates. This is not the stardard set-up because they include the Utopia series cross overs. These x-overs are massive and come from the ultra expensive Uptopia series of 3-ways.

3 Way Separate System
165mm (6-1/2") Woofer
40mm (1-9/16") Voice Coil
100mm (4") Magnet
165mm (1-9/16") Midrange
40mm (1-9/16") Voice Coil
100mm (4") Magnet
TN 52 Tioxid 5 Tweeter
3-way Separate Crossover
18 dB/oct. (300Hz/3.5kHz)
Adjustable Tweeter and Midrange Level
Basket Reinforcement
3 way/2-1/2 Way Mode Selector
400 Watts Max Power Handling
200 Watts Nominal Power Handling
95.5dB Sensitivity (2.83 V/1m)
60Hz-22kHz Frequency Response
Grills Included

Other recommendations on front speakers for an SQ focussed system? Please include brand and model names. Thanks!

So, same speaker set, but just not use the crossovers is what you are saying?

The crossovers 100% HAVE to match the exact set of speakers you are using. In good quality components, like the Focals, mixing and matching isn't going to work.

Active filtering is a simple and easily adjustable solution.
In other words, you are saying these Focals are an excellent choice and dump the passive crossovers, correct?

It would be a fine system, but that is your call (later it would be the judges call)
