I am trying to pick out a cd/mp3 deck for my moms car. I have a 4 channel alpine amp, running boston acoustic speakers all around.
Im trying to choose between a few different models.

CDA-9851
pioneer dehp680mp (premier)
dxz665mp or dxz775mc
or a kenwood model of similar specs.

any comments would be greatly appreciated

 

I would short list Eclipse in a heartbeat if you are after a top notch cd player.

 

I was looking at the eclipse 8445, but i was worried about the affect of the 8v preouts on my older amps? I have an Alpine MRPF200 and also a rockford 500BD.

 

We ran 8v units on all series of Rockford amps with zero issues related to input voltage. Remember that the cd player will not make full voltage until it nears top volume. I have one CD8445 left in stock at this time, offered on sale as it is now a last years model. Send me a PM if this interests you.
