How low is to LOW

I mean if I listen to alot of bass CD's like Bass mechanic and stuff like that which hits real low, how low should I tune my box and what is to LOW?

I don't know, I always thought 30 to 20 was pretty low, some may not agree tho

Well I like to listen to bass cd's once in a while so maybe I will try a tune to 25 hz or so.
right now I'm at 31hz and a few songs I play go alot lower, I have to be careful!

^ yes you do have to be careful, a lot of guys kill their subs on the freq sweeps when they go below their tuning point. I would almost recommend a sealed box for this.

^^^^ like every one above said but if you want more output at the lower frequencies a ported box takes a lot less power if it is done right. having said that the above is still the safest just needs tons of power.

Has the rest of the industry caught up with us yet on the correct use of the terms "subsonic" and "infrasonic"?
